Caption
This image was recorded in the Early Flight gallery of the Smithsonian Institution Air and Space Museum on the Mall in Washington, DC. In addition to documenting the beginnings of manned flight it also marks the beginning of tourist season in Washington. Although I edited most people out of the image the museum was very crowded on a weekday afternoon.

The light level in the gallery was very low and mono/tripods and not allowed in the museum so I had to expose at ISO 800, f2.8 and 1/20 sec. Thus the images are not as sharp as I would like and the noise level is high.
