The Hall of Pray for Good Harvest is the main building of the Temple of Heaven, one of the World Heritage sites in Beijing. This is a red sandalwood model of the hall, shown on the 4th floor of the China Red Sandalwood Museum in Beijing. The other model is the Long March No. 2 rocket which launched the spaceship of Shenzhou No. 5 in 2003 and No. 8 in this year. I don't believe the prelude in the movie "2012", but I do believe in love and in peace. We don't have to pray for a good harvest nowadays but indeed we have to pray for safety and for world peace. Let's try our best.

This was the second time I shot panoramas for the museum. The first time was in 2004 after I had just obtained my first DSRL camera. I took a panorama in the hall and it was an honor to be chosen by Hans Nynberg as the weekly new pano of panoramas.dk.
