Caption
Sandy Hook's 64-acre "Holly Forest" is the largest maritime holly forest on the east coast of the United States. Rising tides and extreme weather events are gradually eroding the edge of this holly and pine forest on the bayside of Sandy Hook. How will coastal areas like Sandy Hook be affected as the sea level rises each year and extreme weather events increase?
