Forests can contain so many different things and be used for so many uses. People interpret these spaces in their own ways. What you see here is just a small part of a downhill mountain bike course, something that wouldn't have been built in 5 minutes, a real labour of love. I didn't know it existed and this was made even more surprising by the fact it is only a short distance from where I live.

The course contains a good variety of challenges with jumps, fast sections and banked corners. The part you see here shows a jump across a small stream before heading into a banked corner that leads to another jump.

Unfortunately for the people who had made the course a bit of tree clearing had taken part on the lower section resulting in it being blocked by fallen trees. Something that I'm sure wouldn't have left the course blocked for long and more than likely become part of the course itself.
