An interesting set of galleries of connecting caves and underground grottoes lies to the north of Lanzarote, at the foot of the volcano Monte de la Corona which erupted around 3000 years ago.

A jameo is formed when a tunnel ceiling collapses, revealing the presence of volcanic passages caused by cooling lava flows - allowing their routes to be traced.

The Jameos del Agua was artistically developed for viewing by César Manrique in 1968. From this aerial shot you can look down into the tunnel from the opening beside the main building.

Once in the tunnel and caves there is a Concert Hall offering an unique setting for concerts and ballet performances, a magnificent garden with a large swimming pool, a dance floor and two bars built into the niches formed by the rocks.

Equipment
4 GoPro HERO2 cameras, with a wooden camera cradle/rig to hold the cameras in exactly the correct position is triggered by 4 gentWIRE camera syncronisers. Suspended below a Sutton Flowform kite with 16^2ft area.

This technique produces two hemispheres, and a different workflow in PTGui from the classic ground pano technique. This results in extra effort BUT impossible angles!

See the rig, how Kite Aerial Photography is achieved, and the workflow.
