My paternal great-grandfather was a glasblower and led his own factory between the world wars. My maternal grandparents both worked in the glass industry as glass grinders producing what got known as bohemian crystal. Alas, nothing remained of that times that could be shown in a panorama.

We spent this warm and crystal clear day by the upper Ceze river with it's crystal clear and refreshing water. The only other relation to glass could be the quarz veins in the gneiss rocks. Quarz beeing one of the components glass is made of.

The stone bridge withstands the spring floods overflowing it yearly since ages. The houses in former times where the mill of both the villages up each slope.
