We are two days from Christmas and there was no snow yet. But due to temperatures slightly below freezing and nightly fogs the whole landscape is frozen and white. No one's around and except for the rustling of ice flakes falling from the trees now and then it is absolutely quiet. Just a few more minutes and the dawn turns to darkness.

Is this where Santa comes through or is it the Blair Witch forest?

The image was taken a few steps off the Walderlebnispfad (educational forest tour) in Freising - look closely and you'll see the path.

Unfortunately the images don't compress very well so due to file restrictions on this server you only see a panorama of low resolution.
