Old Sacramento on a Friday night, the bustle and hubbub.
Cars constantly driving up and down the street.
People just out from the bars walking by, heckling you,
"Take a picture of me!" and standing in front of you.
Not the best of shooting conditions.
I had scouted the area the night before.
I knew which shots I wanted to take and where.
I showed up early and starting taking the scouted shots.
Suddenly it was time! The time of the Wrinkle was upon me.
I rushed to this spot, set up, and starting taking the shots.
2 minutes per exposure set,
6 exposure sets per spherical panorama,
3 sphericals to make sure I had a good enough shots to choose from
to cover the blown shots
( moving cars, people standing in the way, moving people, etc ).
This is the result. The reason you don't see people?
They were moving and it doesn't take much movement
on a multi second exposure for them to disappear.
The miracles of long exposures and post processing!
Would you like to see my other panoramas from this night?
