A Mans House Is His Castle"... a haven of safety and privacy... protected by our constitution. Within the house is the most important room to family... The Kitchen... a sanctuary for modeling life skills on to our children... sharing meals & morals.. just yesterday our neighbors little girl Elle, spent time with Maggie, wide eyed & giggling, learning how to make & bake Christmas cookies... the cycle continues... Our farmhouse kitchen has been home to 3 generations. The wood fired cookstove has produced countless biscuits and baked bean pots from before the turn of the century to now. The hoosier came up from Sears in Boston on a windjammer. The drop down ceiling light(s) are original from when electricity first made it to our farm. We invite you to look around. Please excuse the mess. We are remodeling a bit; painting, shelves, & finding the original wainscoting paneling beneath the particleboard. Look carefully, maybe you'll see my Nana smiling knowing that another generation is still making this kitchen a central part of our home... a true family sanctuary. -- :o) Larry & Maggie
