Spring starts in Japan with HANAMI, the outdoors feast to enjoy while viewing cherry blossoms.

There are some special HANAMI spots in Kyoto. Hirano Shrine especially has a lot of HANAMI towers. When night comes, many people of Kyoto jam this place.

Hirano Shrine also is well known as the venerable "shrine of Kyoto Six". I attended a wedding in Hirano Shrine with cherry blossoms in full-bloom two years ago. It is a shrine where memories are very deep for me.

I shot at same place both day and night. Please enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms with the day scene, and the atmosphere of the HANAMI with the night scene.

To my regret, the woman who is in the night scene is not my wife.
