Talloires is a name of the village and of the bay of the Annecy lake. Talloires is known as:

- the deportation site for the first wife of the older soon of Charlemagne, after their divorce, in IX century. - the Benedictine Priory built by Saint Germain in XI century. - The site of retreat of the painter Cezanne in 1896. - Paragliding center of the lake. - Golf club of the lake. - European center of american Tufts University. - One of the best gastronomic restaurant of France – "l'Auberge du Pere Bise".
