The places where I really love to be are always near some of the eight bridges that cross the Rhine in Cologne and connect the two parts of the city. The Severinsbrücke is one of these bridges. The cable-stayed bridge with its 77 metres high A-pylon was built 1958-59 in an asymmetrical suspension style.
