Another year passed by and another 670 panoramas were produced by me in 2008. Simple ones, complicated ones, good ones, bad ones, stunning ones and one with an outstanding high audience on the internet, which I have chosen here for this event.
The Grand Opening of the first Apple Retail Store in Germany (Company Store).
For the opening a crowd of about 4,000 persons, mostly Apple fans, gathered in front of the Apple store, waiting patiently for the 10:00 o'clock stroke and the official opening of the store.
In only three days this panorama was seen more than 30,000 times. Countless websites included a link to my panorama on their site and even on a CNN site it was published.
On Google Maps/Earth the location of the Apple Store is still a construction site but clearly visible (GoogleMaps as of December 2008).
