On the edge of a forest near by the so called "Steling", the highest point (658.3 m) in the "Städteregion Aachen" in Monschau-Mützenich in the Eifel, there are two rocks lying around. One of this rocks has a rectangle form looking like a big bed. There is a myth that says that "Charles the Great (Kaiser Karl der Große)" slept here one day after a hunting expedition. Therefor this rock is called "Charles the Great Sleeping Berth (Kaiser Karls Bettstatt)".
