Bumps is a seasonal restaurant catering to the lunch crowd at Buttermilk Ski Area in Aspen, Colorado. The small mountain of the local 4 ski areas, Buttermilk offers enough easy terrain to boost its popularity among beginners and the family crowd. Local parents take advantage of the season-long Powder Panda children's ski school program with the opportunity to spend the day skiiing on their own while borders take advantage of the top-to-bottom terrain park.

Lunch-time will fill the 250 seats of this Italian flavored restaurant over any given weekend day. Today's inside rush was relativly quiet with the majority sitting on the outside deck with sunny weather in the high 40's.

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
This was my first hand held with PTMac. Holding the camera tight against my chest, and pivoting around the toes of my telemark boots, I shot about 5 sequences in different locations but picked the very first of these. The salad person was helpful holding up a plate for a few moments and lucked out with the crowd - there was a slight gap in the line which allowed me to hold my place up against the counter.
