This 360 panorama was captured from the footbridge near St Alkmunds Church in the Derbyshire village of Duffield. This footbridge allows you to navigate over the railway tracks on foot. You can see two trains approaching from different directions at the same time.

The scale of the railway network in the UK is very large with over 21,000 Miles of tracks, this section that you can see in this 360 is a tiny fragment of this network. This section of line is on the Midland Main Line from Derby to Leeds.

The railway system in Great Britain is the oldest in the world with the world's first locomotive-hauled public railway opened in 1825!
