This arbour with gently clattering fountain is the centre of a number of rose gardens. On a sunny day - as here when I took these shots - it offers some shadow as well. Great for the tired visitor or panographer! (Pfffff...........) I visited all the rose gardens and though all the roses are varying degrees of the colour white, yellow or red, their names do vary! The rose growers definitely use their imagination when inventing names for their product; look here what I came across: The whites---> Rosa America , Merle Blanc, Tom Tom, True love, Symphony, Karin Blixen, Swany, Cinderella (little), White summer snow. The yellows---> Peace, Golden Border, Gold Quelle, All gold, Golden wings, Limburg star, Sunmaid, Yellow ocean, Release. Reds--->Rosa Gaujard, Royal Dope ? Roter stern, Electron, Virgo, Pergille Poulsen, Birgit, Lilian, Red imp. These gardens are situated on an estate that belongs to a castle named: Kasteel Arcen. Nowadays it is commercially run and open for visitors. Of all gardens I chose the arbour because nothing else looked finer! Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
