Break the rules and you go to prison. Break the prison rules and you go to Alcatraz. Although no longer serving as a prison, Alcatraz Island formerly held people that the general community didn't want around them any longer. Today's delapidated prison cells once formed a community of sorts within site of the greater community just across the water, but forever unreachable. Like any other community, this one offered all the basic services in its heyday, albeit with numerous restrictions and rigorous enforcement. It also sported a few extras that most communities lack, such as solitary confinement cells and guard towers.
