I was busy evaluating and measuring some fisheye lenses last night when it occured to me that I wont have any time left to make a WWP summer solstice contribution before closure.

As I intend to deliver the results from this test hopefully for the benefit of the panographers, I felt like being immersed in an environment related somehow to the Community theme.

I have let everything as it was then and I decided to simply make 4 photographs of this unusual scene and then stitch these into a panorama.

A cylindric target, a light source and a camera carefully aligned with each other and lots of black material to absorb stray light are the main component of this home made test set-up...

Equipment used for the panorama: Home made miniature support of a Canon EOS 20D + Sigma 8mm f4 combo.

Appearing on the pano itself: Manfrotto 190B tripod supporting a Canon EOS 5D + (shaved) Nikkor 10.5 mm A (shaved) Tokina 10-17 mm is also a guest that sit on the test bench floor.

PTGui Pro, PS CS3, Cubic Converter.

Bordeaux Medoc 2003 slightly chilled.
