Amsterdam had a sense of community that surprised us. The pride in their city was in the air. Old Coffee Houses being converted into friendly cafes and the locals enjoying a cycle along the streets with the kids in the front basket. It was a warm evening as we walked around the streets and canals in search of a good espresso and a spot to watch live go by. We found it in the many great cafes in the city, lots of people sharing a story or two, the locals giving we the visitors a few tips on the best photo spots and places to see. The one place that became clear that we must see was Rembrandt Square and its tribute to Rembrandt. A collection of bronzes at the foot of Rembrandt with a feeling of being on guard. The photographers had gathered to get the shot they had waited for. I waited my turn and quickly captured my panorama. Spent the evening talking with other photographers about the art of 360fotos. A great day among new found friends, Amsterdam was the place to be for our midsummer break.
