Newton Dee Community is situated on the western edge of the City of Aberdeen, on Deeside - part of the city, yet in the countryside too. Their houses, workshops, gardens and farms provide a sheltered environment for people with leaning disabilities and other special needs while allowing integration into the immediate wider community and the life of the city and the surrounding area.
They offer residential and day opportunities for men and women of all ages, with a wide range of skills training and work opportunities available to suit all personalities and abilities. By involving everyone in their community in real work, providing high quality goods and services valued by the public, they build confidence and a sense of achievement and self worth, which help to build a fulfilling life.
