Bowmans's Hill Tower stands 125 feet tall. On a clear day, a 14 mile view of the Delaware River Valley is possible. The panorama isn't as sharp as I would like as the panorama was shot freehand.

See the "inside the bars view panorama" at http://www.panoartist.com/360/2008/0704.htm

Construction began in September of 1929 and finished in June 1931. Much of the stone was gathered from nearby fields and fences, while cut stone for the sills and balustrades came from local quarries in Lumberville, PA and Lawrenceville, NJ. The entire construction was done by the Washington Crossing Parks Commission employees. The total cost - including material and labor was $100,000.
