While most people have looked for the most dynamic or highest elevation for this project, I choose a local elevation that won't be there much longer. This is an elevated footbridge at the Northwest Gateway / Armstrong Project which is used by students to cross the rail yard. The rail yard which is located between Armstrong’s flooring plant and the F&M Campus will be closed this year and will be moved to allow open space. Over the past year, Franklin and Marshall College and the Lancaster General Hospital have partnered to create a medical complex and a sports field zone. So while it’s not the highest elevation I could have chosen, it reflects an interesting elevation that will disappear once the fields start to appear.
