Elche is a city, yet it becomes quiet as a village at night-time. This pano was shot very early in the morning at the Elche city centre, Plaza de Baix. This is the main city square which holds the City Hall (XV A.D.) and the most famous local clock-tower, Calendura&Calendureta (XVIII AD).

This square is probably one of the most crowded places in the city, but becomes very quiet by night. I have lately been amazed by this night tranquility and how the city transforms itself from day to night.
