Much time, not so much time. Wait and run. Time preserves, time wears. Time adds, time subtracts. Past and present. Slow and fast. Time for painting, time for shooting. In this ancient building located in Genoa, Italy (look at the fresco on the roof), the Compagnia Unica OpenLab art gallery hosted “Migration,” the exhibition of artworks by the photographer Matteo Cavalleroni. His photos let us decode the people in the airports through their defocused shapes. From this particular perspective, the photographer strongly suggests us the concept of person and body as unit, each with his or her own story; he captures and renders the essence of the different human actions we usually do in the airports, actions dictated by times of arrivals and departures.
