Forgotten? Well to be honest, I never had the occasion to meet one up close and personal. I had to rely on movies and what my mother-in-law told me about them. :-) This was until I had the opportunity to go to Dinosaur World in Plant City, Florida. They have locations in Texas and Kentucky as well. They have 150 life-size dinosaurs and the kids were telling their parents about each of them. Don't worry, you are safe there. As you can see, they are behind a rope fence. The big guy you see is a Tyrannosaurus Rex, also known as a T. Rex.
