This pano was shot at Elche's Old Cemetery. We all have family at a cemetery, and I do have family in this particular one.
The year 2011 has marked the bicentenary of this burial ground which is part of the European Cemeteries Route and also belongs to the Association of Significant Cemeteries. To commemorate such occasion, a couple of routes have recently been created to show and explain some of the singular constructions and distinguished citizens found and buried at this place.
Picture location by Sonia Zamora-Amoros. Picture production by Antonio V. Garcia-Serrano.
In loving memory of all those who rest in this place.
