I didn't plan to shoot a panorama when I visited the exhibition of Martin Kasper in Weil am Rhein which showed some of his works he did in collaboration with Ben Hübsch. But in the top floor of the Stapflehus gallery there was this installation, with a wall painting of Ben Hübsch on one side and a canvas painting of Martin Kasper on the other side looking like a reflection of the wall painting in a half transparent mirror.

A situation that could only be covered by a spherical panorama and a truly unique one, too. Thanks Martin and Ben for this wonderful opportunity!

I featured Martin already once on the WWP for the Color event 8 years ago: http://worldwidepanorama.org/go/n4982

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made

I had no tripod with me but this would have been a too low viewpoint anyway. But I had no pole either. So I resorted to shooting handheld, with the camera over my head. The bright sunlight outside made it necessary to shoot bracketed. It's always a bit of a gamble since you never know how this works out. Fortunately it did quite well...
