For this event I had an invitation to shoot my panorama inside the studio of the public radio station Bayern 3 where people work around the clock to deliver news, music and lots of information to a wide audience in Germany.

Every Saturday evening from 8 to 12 pm a popular radio chat-show is hosted by two persons: moderator Claus Kruesken at the mixer and online editor Karsten "Mr. Netradio" Schwartz who is busy chatting over the Internet with the audience. The sound engineer sitting on the other side of the big window is also receiving phone calls and answering questions from listeners.

This program is not only transmitted over radio waves but is also broadcast worldwide via live streaming and targets an audience that is interested in multimedia topics. So that's why I was interviewed about how I stitch my photos on a computer and why I chose this of all places instead e.g. a nice view in the Alps. That gave me the chance to introduce both the world wide panorama events to a wider public and also the wiki about my favourite stitching software on panotools.org.

I'm really not used to being interviewed on a live show while I shoot my photos, so some additional energy was neccessary to stay close to the microphone and in the same time concentrate on shooting. Maybe the reason why I forgot to put my light meter out of the picture...

On Karsten's LC display you can see that the webcam to his right just took a picture of me. For reasons nobody there could explain this one of all three webcams is actually mounted on a panoramic head similar to the one I used to shoot the panorama.
