Investing so much Energy just to get... what?

If you look at the initial view of this panorama you might think that this image is about the sun as "our" big source of energy... well: it is not!

If you pan around a bit you will find someone else putting unbelieveable huge amounts of energy to reach his goal. He groans, he moans - he sighs and he snarls to reach his goal: a big hole!

He just can not leave the grass were it belongs - it has to disappear. He bites "full power" into the bare ground ripping the grass and earth apart. Throwing it to the left an right just to get another bite of it. And as the hole grows and gets deeper and bigger his energy vanishes. He gets tired. His teeth become almost invisible: they are all covered with heavy brown mud. He can not breath anymore because all his mouth is filled with it. But then... he pulls himself together and starts all over again. And this at the age of ten! (Which equals about 80 years for a human).

That is what i call: Energy! --- Have fun :-)

[I did expect to see many power plants with this theme - so i wanted to do something different. (Although i am having very good relations to power plants nearby - see WWP 09-2004). But as i felt a bit ill the last days i did not have so much energy to think of anything very creative... so above you can see the result. It was not very difficult to shoot: "he" always begins to dig if i rest somewhere longer than 5 minutes.]
