I´ve taken this pano crossing the Rhine with ab ferry near by bonn. The Rhine is an importand route of transport in Europe: its the direkt way for Germany to the North-Sea Harbours. But this special ferry has truly an historical background in transportation. It was the ferry Konrad Adenauer (first Chancellor of West Germany) used every morning and evening to get to his "work" in Bonn an back to his house in Roehndorf. Nowadays, it´s a pretty place viewing the nice Panorama of the Rhine and the "Siebengebirge", watching the boats going down the river, or just spare some kilometers crossing the Rhine with this ferry. At last somethings funny: By chance the satellite image on google earth shows just a ferry crossing the Rhine!(even with only one car on it!!) It should have nearly the same position as i had when i took the pano. So i placed the landmark directly on the ferry where i stood.
