With the decline of train usage in the US, I thought it fitting to show this memorial carved out of brick on the north side of the old Lincoln train station. One passenger train still runs through town, the California Zephyr. It arrives in Lincoln sometime between 12:30 AM and 3:30 AM depending on how on-time the train is any particular day. The irony of it all is how critical the US' passenger train network was to our history.
