As a Los Angeleno, I spend a great deal of time in the car, so I couldn't think of a more fitting subject than my daily travails through LA traffic in my Honda Element. In this environment I need something that is small and light enough to get around easily in, but which is roomy enough to carry my gear, my dear Julia and our dog Archie, and to provide a warm, safe place to sleep just in case. Transportation is the number one goal, but comfort, safety, cost and environmental impact are nearly as important.
