With the challenge of colors it occurred to me that at night one thing that shows up are bright colors. This is really true of the front of the Pennsylvania College of Art & Design School. The building is lit with several items designed exclusively with color in mind.

There’s a strip of LED lights that run down the right side and top and a series of spotlights that flood the main building, all which run through a sequence of color changes. While I was shooting I had the choice of blues, greens, yellows, purples, oranges and reds. The orange and red impressed me the most and stood out in the night sky.

If you turn around and look at the street, you’ll see the colors of the traffic passing by and a green LED stripe on the top of the Police station across the street and the traffic lights too. This image is all about color…..
