The Wedding Night was arranged for the first time on September 18-19th, 2009. It was the local Pastor Heikki Leppä's idea of low-key church weddings. Four cantors and seven pastors performed 92 weddings in order of arrival in one night during a seven-hour ceremony in the medieval Church of St. Lawrence.
