Minto Park located in downtown Ottawa is the site of the Ottawa Women's Monument.
The Enclave consists of large stone with the inscription “To honour and to grieve all women abused and murdered by men. Envision a world without violence where women are respected and free.”

An annual memorial service is held at the monument on International Women's Day in March to remember the Ottawa women and the victims of the École Polytechnique massacre in Montréal in 1989.
