I began shooting conventional panoramas in early 2000. My first images were shot with ultralarge format sheet film cameras—an 8"x16" and later a 7"x17". After a brief stint using a 6 cm x 12 cm Noblex in 2004, I started to work with digital capture, stitching 6-8 frames to create rectilinear panos.

While the majority of my work is now done by digital capture I still occasionally shoot with a 6 cm x 17 cm film camera as well as 5" x 7" view camera.

More panoramas (QTVR and traditional) as well as my platinum-palladium work can be seen on my website at www.rogerhein.com
