The "Fat Man" is a 23 kiloton nuclear bomb. It was the second and last nuclear bomb ever used in combat. The Fat Man was detonated over Nagasaki, Japan on August 9, 1945. The blast radius covered 2 square miles and caused 45,000 immediate deaths. In the full screen version you can read the plaque which has additional information.
