Caption
Outside the International Convention Center in Jerusalem, a group of people wait for their bus. Perhaps the 7 to Ramat Rachel, or maybe the 31 to Gilo? The city's bus system is a vital part of its transportation infrastructure. Sometimes chaotic, sometimes efficient, the system plays an important role in this writer's life, as the 24 ferries him to and from work most days. A light rail system is in the works but it's hard to imagine the controlled madness of the bus system being entirely supplanted any time in the future.
