This panorama was shot from under Kings Ave bridge, one of two bridges (the other being Commonwealth Ave bridge) crossing Lake Burley Griffin. The bridges skirt two adjacent sides of what is known as the Parliamentary Triangle which has the Parliament House at it's apex.

To the left of the bridge you can see the National Carillion given to the city of Canberra in 1963 as a gift from Britain.
