On Top of the Dome

This is the panoramic view from the dome on top of the Schmidt telescope at “Observatorio Nacional de Llano del Hato” in Merida, Venezuela. This observatory is situated at an elevation of 3600 metres (11.811 feet) above sea level.

From this point of view you can admire the highest peaks in my country, “Bolivar” 4.978 metres (16.332 feet) and close to the observatory “Mucuñuque” with 4.700 metres (15.420 feet).

En la Cima del Domo

Esta es una vista panorámica desde la cima del domo del telescopio Schmidt en el Observatorio Nacional de Llano del Hato, en Mérida, Venezuela. Este observatorio está situado a una altura de 3600 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

Desde aquí usted puede admirar las montañas más altas de Venezuela, al fondo el Pico Bolívar con 4.978 metros y más cerca del observatorio el Pico Mucuñuque con 4.700 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
