New York City's Wall Street on any given weekend is a tourist destination that includes gazing at the facades of the New York Stock Exchange and Federal Hall - which is the site of George Washington's first inauguration in 1789 and is the birthplace of American government.

The New York Stock Exchange building, draped with its American flag, is forever barricaded with a security perimeter. Federal Hall, a national landmark at 26 Wall Street is freely accessible for posing for pictures next to a statue of George Washington. And on this evening, a challenge for some skate board runs.

To add a bit more of the color Red to the Wall Street of 2008 crisis and to raise the visual blood pressure of this 360 panorama, I walked around the night scene adding bursts of red illumination to highlight some of the buildings and also to back-light people so long shadows were cast. The effect was created by firing a hand held strobe covered with some red acetate film as I triggered the camera with a wireless remote.
