It is a Vertical Shaft of Sumitomo Ponbetsu coal mine at Mikasa, Hokkaido. It was built in 1960, which was used until closed in 1971. Height is about 51m, depth is 750m. Those days, It was called the biggest vertical shaft in the East.

住友奔別炭鉱
北海道三笠市にある住友奔別炭鉱の立坑である。1960年に建てられ閉山する1971年まで使用された。高さ約51m、深さ750mで、当時東洋一の立坑と呼ばれていた。
