Lichen tangles in endless connectivity with nodes like neurons or Internet routers reminding me of active peace-making on the UN International Day of Peace, September 21, 2015. Sometimes the equinox is on the 21st but this year it is the 23rd. Still close enough to remind us of equi-day and equi-night and the balance between the hemispheres of earth.
