This VR panorama shows the common of Marienfelde, a place looking back on a long and eventful history. People have lived in this place for thousands of years. The Templars founded a knight's estate in the 12th century and built one of the finest fieldstone churches in this area.

In 1435 Marienfelde became part of the bigger town of Berlin, later the capital of the Prussian kingdom and today the capital of the reunited Germany. The medieval fieldstone church is the oldest building in Berlin today.
