The best of 2005? Which one is it?

Is it the picture from an artifical snowhill (for sledgeriding in the city)?
Is the best the panorama from the giant oven of an incineration plant ?
Or is it one of the more private panoramas from our familiy holidays?

At last I decided to choose one which has a strong cultural and regional reference to my home town. The "Goldene Madonna" is part of the Cathedral Treasure Chamber of Essen. It was built more than 1000 years ago, in 990, and is the oldest known statue of this kind.

Behind the scene : how this panorama was made
I was not allowed to modify the illumination, so that I had to use several different exposures to cover the scene. Still I couldn't avoid all of the the lens-flares.
But as a whole the making of this panorama wasn't very complicated, no real technical challenge.
It was made as a "spin-off" of an order of the bishopric of Essen.
