I have chosen this panorama because I like the view very much. I also have lots of great memories associated with this mountain where I started hiking with my father and brother. This was about 35 years ago. My father is 71 years old now and is enjoying the outlook towards Bad Hindelang, where I grew up.

Making Of

The shooting was done with a monopod which allows for easy and fast rotation. The lens was mounted with a custom-made bracket which allows me to mount the lens to turn around the no-parallax point of the lens. I took three exposures at every direction, an additional down shot and then used exposure fusion to combine the different shots.
