Snow on the trees in Hartshorne Woods after one of the many snow storms of Winter 2011.

The Hartshorne Woods is an old woodland area, named after one of the first settlers, Richard Hartshorne, an English Quaker who bought land in the area around 1669. Located on high ground that is also the highest point on the eastern seaboard between southern Maine and the Yucatan.
