The weather was cold and stormy at Bad Wildbad this March 20. The thermal water that wells out of the spring is 39° Celsius. The thermal wells in the valley of the Enz are known since the 14th century. The yellow building is a former thermal spa, named after King Karl of Wuerttenberg. Nowadays, it is used as a Kurhaus and houses a cinema. After renovation, the PALAIS THERMAL (the red sandstone building) was reopened in 1995 as one of the most beautiful baths in Europe. It has been erected in 1847 by the land Württemberg. On my WWPanorama-site, there are also panoramas from inside.

The city railway is the latest project at Bad Wildbad. Completed last October, visitors can now reach the baths directly by train.
