Our small cottage was built in 1884 and we started renovating it almost ten years ago. It was my grandmother's house and my dad was born here, so there is quite a bit of history in these walls.

There is a very calming and relaxing atmosphere in this house, that sadly I will miss very much. We are about to commence the building of a new house. Small as it is, we have now outgrown our house. We need more space and our business needs new premises. We had thought about building on, but the cost of that would be about the same as a new construction.

The house hopefully will stay in the family, my brother has offered to buy it, and this is a great relief to both my family and I. We know it will be looked after.

The panorama shows a very late dinner and the wonderful company of our friend Caroline.
